In the shelter’s words

Meet Sam, a 1-year-old cat who needs your help. Sam has suffered significant trauma to his right eye (OD) and will require close monitoring and ongoing veterinary care. Depending on how his eye progresses, he may potentially need an enucleation (surgical removal of the affected eye) to prevent further complications and help ensure his comfort. Please consider helping Sam as he begins this difficult journey. We want to give this young boy every opportunity to receive the treatment he needs and move toward a brighter future. If you can help with Sam's medical expenses, please reach out. If you cannot donate, please share his story and help us spread the word. This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to medical concerns beyond our scope of care. If you are interested in adopting, fostering or rescuing this dog, email dasadopt@dallas.gov. When emailing, please leave a callback number.
