In the shelter’s words

Hi, I’m Rumors. Like any true Bushwick resident, I have a bit of an 'aesthetic' and I don’t just give my heart away to anyone with a can of tuna. I’m a refined Calico who spent my early days as a backyard queen, but let’s just say the outdoor life wasn't serving me anymore. After a much - needed dental glow - up (I’m feeling brand new , darling!), I’ve realized that the indoor life — specifically your indoor life — is where it’s at. I’m an independent woman. I don’t need to be hovering over your keyboard while you’re on Slack, but I’ll be in the room, keeping the vibe right. If you give me the space to trust you, I’ll show you my signature move: the 'Elevator Arch.' I’ll lean into your hand, purr like a vintage Vespa, and remind you why Calicos are legendary. I’d prefer to be your one - and - only leading lady. Ready to be my person? Rumors is about 9 years old. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, treated for fleas and parasites and tested FIV-/FeLV-. She would love to be your one and only! If you would like to schedule a meet & greet with Rumors, please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you navigate to Rumors , then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form! Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime goes to saving the next homeless angel on the street.
