In the shelter’s words
Sammy is looking for his furever home! This handsome guy has the prettiest eyes and the most beautiful brindle coat. He's not all looks though! He's a smart guy who is doing well with potty training and sleeps through the night without a peep! He loves to play with his foster sister but does a great job of entertaining himself too! He is about 9 pounds at 10 weeks old and will likely be a medium sized adult. Email ammraubrie@gmail.com with any questions! Copays vary by location. $110 reimbursement if adopters' own vet/clinic is used within same timeframe for alter and microchip. All Mutts Matter Rescue is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible. *** Breed determination in most cases is often based on the limited history typically available for most rescued animals. We try to be as accurate as possible with the information we have and the rescue assessment of the pup. Current Adoptions are within 3 hours of our foster homes, most within the SJ area - within NJ/PA/DE. Must be 24 to adopt

Plan a visit with the source organization
1. Potential adopter fills out application. 2. A Match Maker processes the application by calling their vet, references, and doing a family interview. 3. A meet with all family members, as well as resident dogs (if applicable) happens next. 4. If the dog is a match for their home, a contract is filled out, and the $425 adoption donation is given. 5. Spay/neuter and microchipping happens (if dog is not already altered) bewtween 5-7 months of age, as per the contract. 6. Our spay/neuter coordinator checks up on this and helps to schedule all of our dogs.
