Update: COSMO IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!Cosmo was one of our TX 8, a group of dogs who came to us after being rescued from horrible living conditions in Texas. Watching this sweet boy blossom in his foster home has been such a joy. He’s a sweet, gentle boy who can be a little timid at first, but he’s thriving more every day. He’s learning his manners, gaining confidence, and discovering just how good life can be.Cosmo is ready for a patient, loving family who will continue helping him shine.A fenced yard is a must for Cosmo.Could you be the forever family this sweet Texas boy has been waiting for? Meet Cosmo Cosmo is finally getting the fresh start he's always deserved. He came to Russell Rescue from a Texas hoarding and breeding situation, where life wasn't about belly rubs, cozy beds, or being someone's best friend. Now? Everything is new. The sights. The sounds. The routines. The kindness. And while the world may feel a little overwhelming right now, every day is another chance for Cosmo to discover what it means to simply be a dog. Estimated adult Jack Russell Terrier Learning that people can be gentle Looking for a patient, understanding home Ready to trade survival for love Dogs like Cosmo don't need perfection. They need someone who understands that trust isn't built overnight—but when it comes, it's one of the most rewarding gifts you'll ever receive. If you have a little patience, a lot of kindness, and room in your heart for a dog discovering life for the very first time, Cosmo is waiting.
