In the shelter’s words
*Name: Donny*Age: 4 years old*Current Weight: 58 lbs *Adoption fee: $475Meet Donny — your future running partner, hiking buddy, and full-time, slightly dramatic best friend. This 50-pound Pointer mix is basically an athlete trapped in a dog’s body… who also happens to be obsessed with you. Donny lives for adventure—long walks, hikes, jogs, sniffing every single blade of grass like it personally offended him—you name it, he’s in. And just when you think he’s in full explorer mode, he’ll stop mid-sniff like, “wait…quick check-in…hi I love you,” grab a few pets, and then get right back to business. He greets his people like you just returned from war. Went to grab the mail? UNREAL. BEST DAY EVER. You are his hero. His king. His entire personality.Other dogs? Not his thing. Not his vibe. Not on his vision board. He’s not looking for a sibling—he’s looking to be your one and only, center-of-the-universe, no-sharing-required kind of love. Honestly? Respect. What he does love: His humans (deeply, dramatically, forever) Big squeaky tennis balls (bring one and you will unlock immediate soulmate status) Being active and included in your lifeWhat you get: a devoted, affectionate, adventure-loving best friend who will stick by your side through every walk, every run, every couch crash, and every snack break (he’s emotionally invested in those too).To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/
