In the shelter’s words

MEET CARL!We cannot say enough great things about the amazing Carl!!! He makes all the shelter staff laugh with his goofy personality, and my goodness THOSE EYES!! Our best guess is that he is part Akita and part Husky- which are really fun breeds to work with! He's always ready for an adventure and some playtime and is so very friendly with all people and other dogs. He's house trained and can get excited and jumpy so we've been teaching him greeting exercise when meeting new people so hopefully when he meets you he'll be on his best behavior! We do think if there are kids in the home they should be 10 and above. He would make an awesome hiking or jogging buddy too but one thing is for sure - he will 100% steal your heart! Come meet Carl in our Brewster/Cape Cod branch!Carl is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays. For information about our adoption process click here
