In the shelter’s words

Meet Sunny, a kitty whose name suits her well! This sweet girl has a gentle, loving nature that’s sure to brighten your day. She may still be practically a kitten herself, but she’s already been a wonderful mama to a litter of her own kittens. Now that her little ones are growing up, it’s finally Sunny’s turn to be someone’s baby! Sunny’s foster describes her as calm, gentle, and affectionate without being pushy or clingy. She’ll happily meow a little hello when you enter the room and come over to greet you, then settle in nearby for some quality companionship. She loves her scratching post, and if you have a lap available, she’s more than happy to curl up for a cozy visit. She also settled into her foster home on her very first day, showing just how adaptable and easygoing she is! After taking such good care of her kittens, Sunny deserves a home where she can soak up some love of her own. If you’re looking for a sweet, sunny companion who brings warmth without demanding the spotlight, this lovely young tabby might just brighten your world. Could you be the one to give Sunny her happily ever after?Interested in meeting Sunny? She’s currently enjoying life in a foster home, so please contact Hayward Animal Services at animal.services@hayward-ca.gov or 510.293.7200 to schedule an appointment!
