In the shelter’s words
Alford & Aros – Twice the Love, Twice the PurrsAlford and his brother Aros were adopted from the rescue in 2023 and, through no fault of their own, have found their way back to us. Now these two-year-old brothers are looking for a forever home together. After receiving the dental care they desperately needed—including full-mouth extractions—these boys have truly blossomed. Free from pain, they now enjoy all the best things in life: treats, toys, cozy naps, and the company of their people.Alford is slightly more outgoing, loves cuddles and brushing, and enjoys curling up beside you. Once they feel safe, their sweet personalities shine through. Aros is the quieter and shyer of the two. He takes a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he completely melts into your hand when you pet him. He adores affection and is a champion head-booper, happily bumping his head into your hand to ask for more pets. He has the softest little meows and can be won over in record time with a Churu treat. Both boys are huge fans of Churu treats. They get along wonderfully with other cats and would do best in a patient home that gives them time to settle in.Alfrod and Aros share a special bond and must be adopted together. If you're looking for double the purrs, double the companionship, and double the love, these brothers are ready to meet you.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Want to find a special someone to join your family? You've come to the right place. Adopt locally with us for the benefit of our community. All you need to do is fill out an adoption form and we will find a purrfect match for your family. All of our rescues are: examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated up to date, all cats are FIV/FELV tested, dogs are Heartworm tested if age appropriate, dewormed, spayed/neutered when age appropriate and treated with flea/tick product, if needed. They also are all microchipped when they are spayed/neutered. Once an application is completed & approved to move forward - we would set up a time for you to come and meet them in their foster home where they are comfortable. If everyone feels it is a good match for everyone, we would then schedule a home visit (required) prior to adoption. We also require a non refundable deposit of $50 per pet prior to a home visit. (To be applied toward adoption donation.) Adoption Fees* (Cats): $135 for a cat/kitten Adoption Fees* (Dogs): $500 for a puppy (under 1 year of age) $400 for an adult dog *There may be a special rate for adopting a bonded pair! Ask us for details!
