In the shelter’s words
Meet Leilani, a 2-year-old Shepherd mix who perfectly balances an active spirit with a love for lounging. At 55 pounds, she is the ideal companion for someone looking for a friendly, social girl who is just as happy hitting the trails as she is napping on the sofa. Leilani is wonderful with other dogs and truly loves people, greeting everyone she meets with a warm and sunny disposition. Her daily rhythm is a dream: she lives for her morning walks, but once she’s had her exercise, she transforms into a professional relaxer. You’ll likely find her snoozing on the couch for most of the day until it’s time for her next stroll or a playful romp in the yard. Leilani is already house-trained and knows her basic commands, making her a very easy addition to a home. Her foster mom reports that she is a well-behaved houseguest who handles being home alone gracefully and will be the first to give you a happy, tail-wagging welcome the moment you walk through the door. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion to fill your home with joy, Leilani is ready to meet you. You can apply to give her a forever home at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html
