Meet Tricky Treat, a beautiful 1-year-old calico with a stunning patchwork coat and a heart full of love. This sweet girl was originally adopted from us, but due to unfortunate changes in her owner's health, she has found herself back in our care through no fault of her own.Despite the changes she's experienced, Tricky Treat remains a happy, affectionate cat who is ready to start her next chapter. She loves attention, enjoys playtime, and is always happy to spend time with her people. She's also good with other cats and does well with children, making her a wonderful addition to many different types of families.Tricky Treat is looking for a forever home where she can be loved, spoiled, and cherished for the rest of her days. She has left the tricks behind and is ready for all the treats, cuddles, and happiness that come with finding her perfect family.If you're searching for a friendly, playful, and loving companion, Tricky Treat may be the sweet treat you've been waiting for! Tricky Treat's adoption fee is $50, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption.Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. Plan a visit with the source organization
Once you’re ready to adopt, head over to our Adoption Application to fill out and submit the form. Once our Adoption Team has reviewed and approved your application, we will give you a call to schedule an appointment with the pet! When you arrive at ACSKC, you will be greeted by our Adoption Coordinator and taken to meet the pet, either in our Meet and Greet Room or one of the play yards. If you already have pets in the home, you may be asked to bring them with you for a meet and greet to ensure they will get along in the home (this typically only applies to dogs). If you and our Adoption Coordinator feel like it is a good match, we will then finalize the paperwork and send you home with a bag of goodies, including our “Welcoming Your New Pet Home Guide,” toys, treats and a sample bag of their pet food. If it is not a good match, you are welcome to meet the other available pets in the shelter. Your approved application will be kept on file for 90 days, so you’re encouraged to take your time before making a decision!
