In the shelter’s words
Cutie Patootie Chyna is looking for her forever family. This sweet little girl is just over a year old. Her start is unknown to us, but a FF volunteer rescued her from a colony living in Waterbury. She LOVES other cats and is very comfortable with her foster family’s dog. She’s tiny and cute and sweet. She’s gaining confidence with her foster family and happily receives pets and sleeps on us each night. Chyna was born around March 30, 2026, and is currently being fostered in Prospect. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process. All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets. Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
