In the shelter’s words
At just 2 years old, Miss Kitty is on a quiet, brave journey of learning to trust again. It’s clear she hasn’t always been treated with the kindness she deserves, but every day she’s discovering that not all humans bring pain—some bring love, safety, and gentle head rubs. Miss Kitty may need a little patience at first. She’s still figuring out her boundaries and will let you know if she feels unsure, but those moments are becoming less frequent as her confidence grows. The beautiful part? Once you’ve earned her trust, she absolutely melts—purring contentedly and leaning in for affection. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. Miss Kitty would be happiest as the only cat, where she can feel secure and soak up all the love for herself. If you have a kind heart and a little patience, Miss Kitty will reward you with something truly special: the joy of watching a once-wary cat learn to love again. This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
