In the shelter’s words

Got Room for a Little Extra Sweetness? Meet Cookie! Life gave Cookie some seriously bad crumbs, but this resilient 8-year-old rescue is ready for a fresh batch of love and cuddles! After enduring a rough past, Cookie is learning the joys of indoor living—and let us tell you, she’s crushing it (and not just her dog biscuits!). Cookie’s Backstory: She’s survived being tied up outside and fed spoiled meat—talk about a tough cookie! Current Status: Cookie is mastering the art of being a house dog, one potty training session at a time. Sure, there’s the occasional "Oops, not there!" moment, but who doesn’t have those when they’re learning something new? Her foster family is cheering her on, and Cookie’s proving she’s a quick study. Cookie’s Ideal Home: A calm, patient household where she can take her sweet time adjusting. No small children, please—Cookie’s still getting her paws under her and might need a bit more space to feel comfortable. Someone who understands that sometimes the best things in life need a little extra love (and maybe a few belly rubs). Cookie’s ready to crumble her way into your heart and become the loyal, loving companion you’ve been waiting for. Let’s help Cookie find the cozy forever home she deserves. Because who wouldn’t want a Cookie in their life? #AdoptCookie #SweetSurvivor #SeniorDogLove #RainbowBridgeRescue #CookieLovers #SecondChances Want to meet Cookie?
