In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm McCoy! I'm a friendly guy looking for a family to call my own. I can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but once I know you're a friend, my sweet personality quickly shines through. I enjoy walks, adventures, and spending time with my people, but I'm just as happy relaxing by your side. All I need is someone who will give me a little patience and a chance to build trust. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will be your buddy through life's ups and downs, I may be the perfect match. Come meet me—I think you'll be glad you did!

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
