In the shelter’s words
Sheba is an Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyr mix. Did you see her eyes, they are a gorgeous yellow/amber color. She is a little over 1 year old and she weighs around 70 pounds. Sheba is a doll baby, she's super friendly, loving and sweet and wouldn't hurt a fly. Sheba's parents are looking for a new home for her where she can be more active. Sheba is great with the other dogs in her home. We recently showed her to a possible adopter and she acted different than she does in the home. Sheba hasn't been socialized much so she got very nervous meeting the new people and their dog. Her owner is going to work with her on this but she will need to continue training after adoption. Sheba is house trained, up to date on all vaccines and micro chipped. Please fill out an application from our website if you would like to meet Sheba.

We have a thorough adoption process that includes an adoption application, vet check (All current and past pets have to be current on vacs. and spayed/neutered), and home check (fence required for larger dogs, etc.). If those come out good and the adoption is finalized, there is an adoption fee that is paid and a contract is signed by the adopter stating that the animal must be routinely vetted and the animal is not allowed to go to any other home w/out the rescue's approval. All of our animals are spayed/neutered before adopting out and currenton vacs (as well as flea and HW meds).
