Hi, I'm Califlower! I'm a quiet, gentle lady who is looking for a peaceful home where I can feel safe, comfortable, and loved. While I may be a little shy at first, I have a sweet nature and enjoy affection from people who are willing to give me a little time to settle in. I'm not the type of cat who demands constant attention or insists on being the center of the action. Instead, I prefer calm companionship, cozy spaces, and sharing quiet moments with the people I trust. Once I feel comfortable, you'll discover a loving companion who is happy simply being near you. A quieter home would suit me best, and I'd be a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a low-key feline friend. If you're looking for a cat who offers companionship without drama and affection without demands, I might be exactly who you're looking for. We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
