**NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!**Meet Hobbit, one of our adorable “Dresden Files” puppies! Born on 9/11/26, Hobbit and his siblings have a 30-pound heeler mix mom and an unknown dad. We estimate they’ll grow to around 40–45 pounds full grown. Hobbit will be ready to head to his adoptive home after 11/19/26.Hobbit is the resident cool, calm, and collected guy of the litter! While his brothers and sisters are busy bouncing off the walls, Hobbit prefers to take life at a more relaxed pace. He’s never in a hurry to get anywhere, but once he arrives, he’s always happy to join in!This handsome little guy is also a natural in front of the camera and ridiculously photogenic. He’s already proven himself to be a patient little model who doesn’t mind dressing up in cute bandanas or outfits for photo ops. When he’s not posing for pictures, Hobbit enjoys playing with his littermates, lounging nearby, and quietly taking in the world around him.Hobbit is looking for a loving family who appreciates his easygoing personality and wants a companion for relaxing afternoons, gentle playtime, and plenty of snuggles. Like any puppy, he’ll still need guidance, training, and opportunities to grow, but his laid-back approach to life makes him a particularly charming little companion. If you’re looking for a sweet pup who’s happy to stop and smell the roses, Hobbit might just be your dream dog!A few important adoption details: CAWS pets are not adopted on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the best match for each animal, and applications may take up to 48 hours to process.Hobbit will be microchipped, and CAWS will cover his first full year of puppy vaccinations as well as his neuter surgery at around 6 months of age. His adopter must agree to bring him to the vet for his remaining vaccinations and neuter surgery. His adoption fee is $300.Ready to welcome this easygoing little gentleman into your family? Apply to adopt Hobbit at http://caws.org/adoption-application. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application
