In the shelter’s words

✨ Meet Cassie ✨Our beautiful brown-eyed girl is a stunning dark brindle sweetheart estimated to be 2–3 years old who came to us as a stray—and is now ready to find the forever family she so deeply deserves. With her soulful eyes and gentle heart, Cassie has a way of stealing hearts… and hopefully your last name too. Cassie is the definition of calm companionship. She doesn’t demand attention—she offers it in the most tender ways. She loves curling up beside her people, gently resting a paw on your hand or arm while you pet her, and leaning in close with the softest little happy grunts . She’s a champion napper (yes, she snores ), but she also enjoys playful moments with her toys and happy zoomies when she’s outside. She’s crate trained, fully housebroken, and walks beautifully on a loose leash ‍. Cassie knows her basic commands and is learning more advanced ones—she’s eager to please and just needs a little practice to polish them. She’s even trained to patiently wait at the front door and at the top of the stairs until she hears your “okay,” showing off her wonderful manners and thoughtful nature ✨.Our brown-eyed girl is also treat and food motivated, which makes training fun, rewarding, and a great bonding experience . Cassie is a perfect medium size, weighing about 50–55 lbs, and just right for snuggling up close on the couch. She’s content relaxing on her own bed or in her crate, but she’s always watching for her next chance to cuddle. She rides beautifully in the car and loves exploring new sights and smells with her people—whether it’s a peaceful walk or a little adventure together.Adaptable, affectionate, and quietly charming, Cassie is the kind of dog who becomes your comfort, your shadow, and your best friend before you even realize it . If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion to share life’s simple joys, this sweet girl is truly something special.
