In the shelter’s words

Saturday is ready for her forever home, and this girl has SO much love to give! It’s hard to believe that when we found Saturday in May 2026, she was dying. She had been trapped inside an abandoned building with no food, no water, and no way out. She was severely jaundiced from fatty liver disease, dehydrated, emaciated, and barely able to lift her head. Her survival was uncertain. But Saturday chose life, and she has fought for it every single day since. Today, she is full of spunk, sweetness, and personality. She’s the kind of cat who makes you smile the moment you walk into the room. Saturday is a TOTAL lovebug who wants pets, pets, and more pets! She makes happy feet, rubs all over your legs, and asks for affection in the cutest ways. And when we say this girl LOVES her humans, we mean it. Saturday sleeps with her foster mom EVERY single night and joins her for nap time, too. One of her favorite things is curling up right on her foster mom’s chest. She wants to be close to her person, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. If you're looking for a companion who will make you feel loved and needed, Saturday is your girl! She’s also a huge fan of wand toys and has discovered that playing is her new favorite hobby. Her joy, energy, and resilience are honestly inspiring. So, what about other cats, Saturday currently lives with a resident cat in her foster mom’s home, and the two do just fine together. They pretty much coexist, each doing their own thing without any drama. Based on what we’ve seen, Saturday could do well with a calm, non-dominant, easygoing cat who doesn't need to be in charge of the household. She would also be perfectly happy as an only cat, where she can soak up all the human attention her heart desires. Saturday has survived the unimaginable. Now she deserves a home where she can finally exhale, stretch out, play, sleep on her favorite human’s chest, and be adored the way she always should have been. Let's land this girl a home!If you’re interested in meeting and adopting Saturday, please fill out an application today. Your new favorite snuggle buddy might be waiting to meet you!
