In the shelter’s words
I'm Pepper. My rescuers say I am the sweetest dog. They say I must have been on my own for a while, starved for attention, but now I am a big love sponge.I love learning new things and staying close to my peoples and my rescue family. For the first day or so, I would not let them out of my sight, but now I hang out with the other kids when they are busy, and I am ready if something needs my attention. I am a pretty good judge of that, if I do say so myself.Still learning to be a family dog, but I am liking what I'm experiencing so far. I think my favorite new thing is snuggling close to my person. Next would be wrestling with my brother Wolfie.Want a dog that can melt your heart with her soulful eyes? Then I am your girl.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Potential adopters have to complete a detailed application that is available on the website. If no red flags, then a home visit is managed to confirm a fenced yard, existing pets, and kids to see if everyone gets along. Then an adoption contract is executed and the adoption fee is held for two weeks. The fee depends on the animal; seniors get a break.
