In the shelter’s words
Jimmy Kibble: Professional Goofball, Part-Time Snuggle Bug, Full-Time Heartthrob Hi, hello, is this thing on? Because Jimmy Kibble has entered the chat, and Iâm here to steal your heart! Iâm a handsome Pittie with a big smile, an even bigger personality, and enough goofy energy to keep you laughing. The shelter staff and volunteers call me sweet, loving, and a BIG snuggle bug. Personally, I think theyâre underselling my professional cuddling qualifications, but Iâll let you be the judge!I came to the shelter as a stray, and now Iâm on the hunt for something pretty special: a forever home where I can be your favorite sidekick, your backyard playmate, and your excuse to take a break from whatever boring human stuff youâre doing. Meeting people? LOVE IT. Getting attention? ABSOLUTELY. Making new friends? Sign me up! Iâm a people-loving guy whoâs always happy to spend time with my humans. Warning: I may cause uncontrollable smiling.Speaking of my goofy side, one staff member recently hung out with me in the yard and discovered that Iâm basically a four-legged comedy show. I was bouncing around, playfully mouthing their hands like an overexcited puppy, and generally being my silly self. But when they asked me to sit? I DID IT! And then I flashed them my biggest, brightest smile. Obviously, I know how to turn on the charm. We practiced my sit, explored some tires, and had ourselves a grand old time. I may have a little extra enthusiasm when it comes to playtime, but hey, life is short, and the yard isnât going to zoom around itself! Now, Iâll be honest: I could use some help brushing up on my basic obedience skills. Think of it as a fun opportunity for us to learn together! With a little patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, we can build a great bond while I work on becoming the bestest boy I can be. You bring the treats and encouragement; Iâll bring the goofy grin and snuggle-bug energy. Deal?Got another dog at home? I might be open to having a canine sibling! Iâve been friendly when meeting other dogs, and I tend to prefer the ladies over the fellas. Other male dogs arenât really my cup of kibble, so introductions with any resident dogs are a MUST to make sure weâre all a good match. After all, even a social butterfly like me has preferences!I should also mention that squirrels are my sworn arch-nemeses. If one dares enter my line of sight, I may feel compelled to give chase. So, a family who understands my high prey drive and can keep me safely managed around small critters would be just my speed. Those fluffy-tailed troublemakers know what they did.So, what do you say? Are you looking for a sweet, silly, affectionate Pittie who will make you laugh, keep you company, and fill your home with love? Iâm ready to trade my stray-dog past for a bright future with my very own family. Come meet me, letâs see if we click, and prepare yourself for the Jimmy Kibble experience. Side effects may include giggles, happy tail wags, and suddenly having a big, lovable shadow following you everywhere.Love and slobbery kisses,Jimmy KibbleYour future best friend, certified goofball, and aspiring couch-cuddle champion. If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings.
