In the shelter’s words

Patty is the definition of happiness. Her tail seems to wag nonstop, and she greets each day with enthusiasm and a smile. When she's especially excited, she'll perform her signature move—the "Patty Dance"—an adorable celebration that is guaranteed to make you laugh and melt your heart. This sweet girl is looking for a home where she can be the center of attention. Patty prefers to be the only pet, which is perfectly fine with her because all she really wants is quality time with her people. She's happiest lounging on the couch, binge-watching your favorite shows, enjoying belly rubs, and soaking up all the love she can get. Patty is also wonderfully low-maintenance. Due to arthritis in her hips and knees, she's not looking for marathon runs or endless hikes. A few leisurely strolls, plenty of soft places to nap, and lots of affection are all she needs to live her best life. Her ideal home is one where she can enjoy a comfortable, relaxed lifestyle surrounded by people who adore her. Princess Patty has spent far too long waiting for her happily ever after. She's ready to trade rescue life for a castle of her own—a cozy home filled with love, treats, cuddles, and a family who will cherish her forever. Could you be the one to give this deserving princess the happy ending she's been waiting for? The adoption fee of $150 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! If you are interested in adopting/meeting , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
