In the shelter’s words
Most of my time has been spent with my two brothers (Crowley and Pier). This has led me to develop a very confident approach to life. I walk around like I own the place because I have to! I am slender and quick on my feet. My confidence has moments of doubt when sudden, loud noises startle me. My tail poofs up but I quickly get it together and realize there is no threat. I explore any and everything, so I need a safe place to gather all my information for hide and seek. I am not the first one to the dinner bowl, but I am not shy about pushing my brothers out the way so I can eat. I love pets but I am not into being held for long periods at this point in my life since I am a bit of a busybody and need to know what is going on at all times. Plan a visit with the source organization
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
