In the shelter’s words

Meet Zion, a stunning Shepherd mix full of joy and a love for life! Born, we believe, in 2023 and weighing about 55 lbs, this handsome boy is the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection -- a loyal companion who&#39s always ready for fun and adventure. Zion absolutely loves spending time outside, especially playing in the backyard with his doggy friends. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs, chase toys, and enjoy the sunshine. He&#39s a fantastic family dog who would be thrilled to join you on walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures, then relax by your side at the end of the day. With his medium-to-high energy level, Zion is happiest when he gets to stay active and engaged. He has successfully completed a professional board-and-train program at Rucker Dog Training, where he learned excellent manners, solid obedience, and the skills to be a well-rounded companion. He knows his commands and plenty of extra tricks too! He&#39s also incredibly smart. He learned to walk beautifully on the leash, so strolls with him are the absolute pleasure. Zion will come with free lifetime training from Rucker for his/her adopters. Zion loves both people, kids, and other dogs. He&#39s crate and potty trained, neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated -- ready to start his new chapter with a loving family. If you&#39re looking for a happy, playful, and devoted companion who will bring endless love and excitement into your home, Zion is your boy. He&#39s ready to share his heart -- and all his new tricks -- with the family who will love him forever. For more information about this wonderful boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to adopt Zion, please submit an application for him at www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from his foster home.
