In the shelter’s words
Meet Kaia, the affectionate black-and-white beauty who believes every room is better when she’s the center of attention. If she knows you’re nearby, expect her to trot over, ask for love, and happily press her chin or ears into your hand for the perfect scratch session. She adores rubbing against her humans’ legs and—if you’re willing—curling up in your lap for a cozy nap. Kaia is wonderfully social with other cats, but she’ll choose human companionship every time. She’s playful, spirited, and endlessly entertaining. Her prized treasures? Toy springs. She loves chasing them, hiding them, and proudly carrying them around as if showing off her latest trophy. Classic toys like wand teasers and kickers also earn her approval, but her true kingdom is atop a good scratching post—especially if you sprinkle a bit of catnip there. That’s the way to her heart. She’s a devoted chicken lover (extra points if her meals come with a splash of chicken broth) and has an undeniable fascination with sinks and running water. Whether she’s supervising the faucet or strutting through the room like the diva she is, Kaia radiates charm, loyalty, and affection. If you’re looking for a cat who will love you fiercely, keep you entertained, and make sure you know you’re adored, Kaia is ready to claim your heart—and your lap.
