In the shelter’s words

Meet Chyna, your future snuggle buddy and full-time shadow! Quote from her foster family:"Chyna is always on the lookout for cuddles and a snuggle buddy. One look at her sweet face and you’ll be smitten. She’s never far from your side, showering you with endless kisses in exchange for a good belly rub. Honestly, we think she might be part marshmallow." Woof-Facts: Name: Chyna Breed: Mixed Breed Weight: 69 lbs of pure love Age: 10 years young Gender: Female Health: UTD on vaccines, microchipped & spayedChyna's Ideal Home:Chyna would love a home where she can be the center of your universe (and your couch). She’s a big fan of leisurely strolls, chasing backyard squirrels (respectfully), and riding shotgun on errands. Her foster says she’s an absolute dream—the kind that snores softly next to you while you binge your favorite show. Great with: Kids: Possibly older children—she sometimes forgets she’s not a lap dog. Dogs: No thanks—Chyna prefers a drama-free, solo spotlight. Cats: Hard pass—she’s more of a “people person.” Training & Manners: Crate Trained: Doesn’t need one—she snoozes peacefully in her bed and keeps the house in check while you’re out. House Trained: Yes! She’s a lady. Leash Trained: Yes—walks like she’s strutting the runway. Personality:Chyna is a certified “Velcro dog”—if you move, she moves. She loves chew toys, fetch, car rides, zoomies, and belly rubs. But her favorite activity? Being next to you. She may be a big girl, but her heart (and snoot) are even bigger. Her Journey:Chyna came to Rescue Haven Foundation from the Yonkers Animal Shelter after her previous family had to surrender her due to financial hardship and a move. Through it all, she’s kept her tail wagging and her hope high.
