In the shelter’s words

Finding yourself in rescue is always a good thing but being born into rescue, aside from being born into a loving family, is a blessing. Ray Allen and his sister, Taurasi benefited from such a situation. They started out being loved and cared for and their journey will continue to provide wonderful things. They are 3-month-old hound mix pups looking forward to their bright future. Ray Allen is 14 pounds and we know that growing is in his future. It is estimated that he will be a medium-size dog ranging from 30 to 60 pounds. He will be the right size to share a sofa and even a bed. No matter what size he becomes he will always fit into the heart of his family members. His likes are on a long list of fun, exciting and entertaining activities. Ray Allen is ready to mingle with his fully puppy spirit and energy. He enjoys the company of other dogs, children and adults. There is no limit to his love. He has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue. The joy of puppyhood is nothing short of exciting, fun, challenging and demanding. In the end, the process is always rewarding, and Ray Allen will grow to be a wonderful canine companion. His skill set is in progress as he works on learning his house, crate and leash training. He is young so he will need time and direction to help him along the way. Life is full a mystery and surprises. Ray Allen is a little bit of both. Welcome him into your world and find everything you have been looking for and more. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Ray Allen is $600. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
