In the shelter’s words
Zealand is a handsome 4 ½ -year-old Husky who recently arrived at Hudson Paws alongside his brother, Zeamiah, after being surrendered on October 22, 2026. These two boys share a special bond and must be adopted together as a bonded pair! Zealand is a social, playful boy who loves to have fun, and we’re excited to continue learning more about him and his brother as they settle in with us. While their journey at Hudson Paws is just beginning, we’re committed to finding them a loving home where they can start their next chapter side by side. We’re still getting to know their individual personalities, preferences, and needs, so stay tuned for more updates as we learn more about these two handsome boys!Zealand and Zeamiah are looking for a forever home together — because some bonds are simply too special to break.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Potential adopter fills out a form with info on preferred dog as well as what they're looking for in a dog, plus a vet reference among other things. I call them and discuss the dog(s) they're interested in, as well as any dogs I feel would be a good fit. We set up a meet & greet with all human and dog members of the family. If all goes well, an adoption fee is paid, a contract is signed, and the family goes home knowing they can call/text me at anytime for help if needed.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
