In the shelter’s words
Daisy is a gentle, quieter girl who is still finding her footing after being returned to rescue through no fault of her own. She is a little unsure right now and clearly misses having a person of her own, but you can see her soft side in the way she leans into pets and stays close once she begins to feel safe. She is talkative in her own way and may hiss when she feels nervous or overwhelmed, but she does not bite. It is simply how she communicates that she needs patience and a slower approach. With time, understanding, and a calm environment, Daisy begins to relax and show her affectionate side. She enjoys lounging, keeping an eye on her surroundings, and being near her person without needing constant attention. She will need a watchful home, as she is known to be curious around doors and windows and may try to sneak out if given the chance. Daisy needs to be the only cat in the home. She is not comfortable with other cats and may go after them, so a quiet, pet-free space will help her feel secure and settled. If you have a calm home and the patience to let a shy but loving cat come into her own, Daisy is ready to find her place again. She is spayed, tested, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Her estimated birth date is 4/1/2018 and her adoption fee is $140.
