In the shelter’s words
Cats are well-known for their enigmatic behavior. Spunky embodies this mystery perfectly. With her striking appearance and sassy demeanor, she captures the hearts of those willing to understand her. While she may greet you with a hiss, it's essential to read between the lines. For Spunky, hissing is just her way of setting boundaries. Once you respect her space, she’s more than happy to accept your affection. Many people interpret a cat's hiss as a warning, but for Spunky, it’s merely a part of her quirky personality. Hissing can often be a sign of discomfort or fear, but in Spunky's case, it's more about asserting her independence. Understanding her hissing helps build trust, allowing you to bond with this fascinating feline. One of Spunky’s most endearing quirks is her love for butt scratches. It’s a testament to the fact that even the most indifferent cats have their soft spots. If you’re lucky enough to gain her trust, you'll discover that a gentle scratch just above her tail will earn you purring and nuzzling. This little ritual has become a favorite among her human friends, showcasing the unexpected affection that lies beneath her standoffish exterior.PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT:Completed applications take precedence over inquiries.
