In the shelter’s words
Shayla Wayla (TX) is a extremely sweet Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix with the most gorgeous honey-colored eyes who is estimated by our vet to be approximately 7 years old as of October 2026. She has a gentle, loving personality and is wonderful with people and other dogs. With her Shepherd and Belgian Malinois traits, she is intelligent, loyal, observant, and eager to bond with her people. She will thrive with someone who enjoys building a relationship with their dog and can give her the love, exercise, and positive training she deserves. She is currently receiving dedicated medical care, and is on her way to feeling healthier and stronger. Her sweet nature makes it easy to see what a great companion she can become once she has the chance to heal and settle into a loving home. If you can love Shayla Wayla (TX) forever and give her the happy, loving forever home that she has never known, please apply online to adopt Shayla Wayla (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
