In the shelter’s words
Hello! Alpine here. I'm a handsome tabby boy with pretty yellow eyes. I'm gentle, sweet, and talkative. The first time you meet me, I'll come across as shy and cautious, but once I'm comfortable with you, you'll see that I am quite affectionate. I truly enjoy attention and will seek it out. In fact, I turn into a silly wiggly worm when getting petted - often flopping over to show my belly and squirming all over the place to get those extra deep ear and chin scratches that feel so good. Being held scares me but I like to be where you are. I'll sleep with you every night, cuddle into your lap while you're watching your favorite show, and I'll regularly follow you around the house. I'll also "yell" at you to get more attention. I am a playful guy, liking to chase toys and wrestle with my sister. I am fully litterbox trained. Due to my young age, it would be ideal for me to be in a home with another feline. (Sibling: Arctic)
