In the shelter’s words

Bambi & Her Babies Are Almost Ready for Their Happy Ending ❤️ Bambi has already done the hardest job she'll ever have—being an incredible mom. Rescued from South Los Angeles with a litter of very sick newborn kittens, Bambi poured everything she had into caring for her babies despite the difficult circumstances they faced. Sadly, not all of her kittens survived, but thanks to her devotion and lots of medical care, two precious little ones made it through. Bambi is a gentle, sweet soul who can be a little shy when meeting new people. Like any good mama, she was protective of her babies, but now that they're growing up, she's beginning to relax and show her affectionate side. With a little patience, a calm home, and lots of love, she's blossoming more every day and is discovering that people can be trusted. Her surviving kittens are just as special: Wiley Creamer is the fluffy, extra-toed (polydactyl) heartthrob of the family. Those adorable "thumbs" make him look like he's wearing oversized mittens, and his soft coat is as cuddly as it is beautiful. He's playful, curious, and impossible not to fall in love with. Runty is a gorgeous Snowshoe Siamese mix who may have started out as the smallest of the litter, but he's made up for it with a huge personality. Sweet, playful, and full of kitten antics, he's a little survivor with a bright future ahead. Whether you're looking to give a deserving mama the peaceful home she's earned or you're ready to welcome one (or both!) of her adorable babies into your family, this little rescue family has so much love to give. Apply to adopt at straynomorela.org and help give Bambi and her babies the forever home they've been waiting for.
