In the shelter’s words

Meet Lovely Luna Meet Luna, a beautiful one-year-old Russian Blue/Chartreux mix with a silky-soft charcoal-gray coat, striking green-gold eyes and a wonderfully sweet, gentle nature. Luna was rescued from the streets of Long Beach along with her brother, and we are so happy that life outside is now behind her. She has been lovingly cared for ever since and is ready for the next chapter — a safe, secure forever home of her own. Luna is a quiet, sweet and playful young cat who absolutely loves the company of other cats. She enjoys having a feline friend to play and cuddle with, so ideally we would love to place her in a home with another friendly young cat who is also looking for a companion. ❤️ With her elegant little face, beautiful eyes and incredibly soft coat, Luna is even prettier in person. She is a gentle girl who would make a wonderful companion for both her person and another kitty. ✨ Luna is: • Spayed • Up to date on vaccines • Microchipped • Dewormed • Flea treated • Litter-box trained • Nails trimmed • Provided with her veterinary records Could Luna Be Your Girl? What we want most for Luna is a home where she will never have to worry about being outside or homeless again — a home where she can feel safe, loved and secure for the rest of her life. We would especially love to hear from someone who already has a friendly young cat looking for a companion. ❤️ To request an adoption application, please email adoptions@lbsn.org or text 562-588-4272. If texting, please include your email address so we can send you an application. Once we receive and review your application, if we think you and Luna could be a good match, we’ll contact you to arrange a time to meet her. Adoption fee: $175, which helps offset a portion of Luna’s veterinary care. Above all, our priority is finding Luna a safe, happy and loving forever home where this beautiful girl will be cherished for the rest of her life. ❤️ A Note About Allergies: Russian Blues are sometimes described as “hypoallergenic,” but no cat is truly allergy-free. Luna is a rescue and a Russian Blue/Chartreux mix, not a purebred cat. If you have a significant cat allergy, Luna may therefore not be the right match for your home. Why Adopt from LBSN? At LBSN, we pride ourselves on the quality, care and dedication we give to every cat we rescue. Our cats are never kept in cages or adoption centers — they live in our foster homes as part of the family until they are healthy, happy and truly ready for adoption. Because we live with them, we get to know their personalities extremely well, which allows us to focus on making the right match, not simply making an adoption. With nearly 30 years of rescue experience, we’re also here after adoption to offer guidance and support whenever you need it. For us, success is knowing we’ve done right by each cat and found them a loving home for life. ❤️
