In the shelter’s words

Meet Gemma, a beautiful 4 year old spayed female Belgian Malinois searching for a loving foster or forever home. Gemma originally was rescued from euthanasia and brought into rescue from a CA shelter over a year ago and found a family. Unfortunately, due to her current owners no longer being able to care for her, she is finding herself coming back into rescue. Gemma has a medium to high drive and would do best in a home with no other animals. Gemma is everything people love about the breed: intelligent, loyal, and deeply devoted to her people. She enjoys being involved in daily life and thrives on companionship, making her a wonderful partner for someone looking for a close bond with their dog.Gemma is crate trained, knows her commands in German amd English, and appreciates structure, consistency, and clear expectations. She is affectionate, well-mannered, and loves spending time with her people. She enjoys having a job to do, learning new things, and being an active part of the family.Gemma would thrive with someone experienced with working breeds or anyone who understands the value of consistency, leadership, and engagement. In return, you’ll gain an incredibly loyal, intelligent companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side.To apply to foster or adopt Gemma please fill out an application at www.madrescueinc.orgPlease apply for Gemma at www.madrescueinc.org All MAD dogs come microchipped with a lifetime registration as well as a FI GPS collar with a 6 month free subscription We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location.
