In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Nema! I'm a sweet, friendly girl who is looking for a forever family to call my own. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but it doesn't take long for me to warm up and show my loving personality. I truly enjoy being around people and am happiest when I'm spending time with those I trust. Once I get comfortable, you'll discover a loyal companion who is ready to share plenty of love and friendship. I'm hoping for a fresh start with a family that will appreciate my gentle nature and give me the chance to shine. If you're looking for a sweet companion with a kind heart, I might be the perfect match for you. Come meet me at M'Shoogy's and see if we're meant to be together!

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
