In the shelter’s words
Meet Mimi, a 5-year-old tuxedo beauty with a quiet charm, a loving heart, and opinions of her own. Mimi's former owner decided traveling was more appealing than having a cat, so this sweet girl was tossed outside like an old suitcase that no longer fit the vacation plans. But Mimi hasn't given up on people, and she's still ready to love someone who deserves her. She's a little particular about her world (aren't we all?), but underneath that independent streak is a very loving girl who wants a safe place to call home. Mimi would be perfectly happy as your one and only, or possibly sharing her space with one other feline who respects her boundaries. She doesn't need a big, busy household or a million toys. She just needs someone who understands that adopting a cat is a commitment, not a temporary arrangement until something more exciting comes along. Mimi has already been treated as disposable once. Please be the person who proves to her that she never was. She has years of love left to give, and all she's asking for is a home where she's cherished, safe, and loved for keeps. Could you be Mimi's forever? ❤️ To offer me a loving home, please call the nice people at Touched By An Animal/Cats-Are-Purrsons-Too at (773)728-6336, or e-mail them at TBA@touchedbyananimal.org.
