In the shelter’s words
Cosmic CrispMale Chihuahua | Loyal Shadow | Big Talker, Bigger HeartCosmic Crisp is Cameo’s ride-or-die. He follows his best buddy everywhere and takes his job as Cameo's unofficial bodyguard very seriously—even when Cameo doesn’t need the backup! Cosmic talks a big game with his tiny barks, but really, he’s just a sweet boy who’s still learning how to trust the world. He adores pets once he feels safe, takes treats gently, and is definitely on the “future walker” track when it comes to leash training. He’s not quite there yet, but with patience and practice, he’ll get there!Cosmic would do best in a home with a confident dog to show him the ropes—or, even better, adopted with his bestie Cameo. He’s looking for a human who understands that love takes time, but it’s so worth the wait.

Find a dog you are interested in (on our Available Dogs page) Click the blue button to apply and fill out the application online If you have a question about the adoption fee, please email Adoption@WagmorPets.org. Adoptions start at $600 but can be more depending on breed, age and the dogs needs. We read all applications and we will contact people for phone interviews within 24-48 hours. While we read all applications, not everyone will be selected for a phone interview. Once we do your phone interview, if you are approved, we will send you an invoice for the adoption fee. You will receive three documents through Docusign to finalize your adoption. You will receive an approximate pick up date and time. This is based on a normal 2 week hold. Pick up your puppy!
