Meet Cooper!If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a heart of gold, Cooper is your guy. This happy-go-lucky senior has a gentle spirit and an old soul. He's perfectly content spending his days hanging out with his people, exploring the yard, going for leisurely walks, and, of course, enjoying plenty of tasty treats. Food is definitely one of Cooper's favorite things, though thunderstorms are not! Cooper's foster family says he is genuinely one of the sweetest dogs they've ever met. He loves being close to his humans and shares an especially close bond with his best friend, Parker. These two are a bonded pair and are looking for a forever home together. Whether they're relaxing by your side, wandering the yard, or enjoying a walk, Cooper and Parker are happiest when they're together.Cooper is wonderfully patient with other dogs and has done great with small dogs. While he hasn't had much experience around larger dogs, his calm and easygoing personality shines through. He knows when to go outside, but as senior he would thrive with someone who can give him a consistent schedule. He is neutered and ready to spend his golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and plenty of treats.If you have room in your heart and home for two incredible companions, Cooper and Parker are ready to fill your days with unconditional love.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Once we receive your application an adoption counselor will take a look and reach out with any questions. The team will check personal, vet references and check with your landlord if applicable. Your adoption counselor will then set up a time to talk with you and your family (or anyone else involved in the adoption process in your home). This call is a good time to ask any questions you have. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster of the PIP(s) you are interested in. From start to finish, this process can take anywhere from a few days to over a week (so please be patient!). If everything goes well and you and the foster agree that the PIP you want to adopt is a good fit, we will then finalize the adoption. Adoption fees are $325 for adults and $375 for puppies. All dogs will be up to date on age appropriate vaccines and spayed / neutered if old enough. If not old enough adopters can come back to our vet to have it covered in fee. It must be done by the time the dog is 6 months old.
