Meet Gomita! DOB: July 2023Weight: 40lbsDisposition: Happy, playful, sweetHistory: Gomita was found outside a hospital while pregnant. She was brought to safety and is now ready to leave rescue behind and find a family of her own.Amazing Qualities: Gomita is a happy, playful girl who brings a lot of personality wherever she goes. She loves being active and especially enjoys playing with water. She's sweet, curious, and always ready to get involved in whatever is happening around her. Gomita has a fun, lively spirit and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a dog who will keep life entertaining. Best Home: Gomita would do best with an active family who can give her plenty of playtime and attention. A home with a secure outdoor space would be a great bonus. Most importantly, Gomita is looking for people who will appreciate her playful personality and give her lots of opportunities to be the happy, silly dog she is.Interested in adopting Gomita, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application: www.thebarkinglot.net/adopt. Our dogs are located in San Diego County, CA. We will happily consider out of town applications and can conduct virtual play dates with interested adopters. We have monthly transport to various locations in the Pacific Northwest, individual arrangements would need to be made for other locations across the US and Canada.About Angeles en Camino:This dog is part of Angeles en Camino ("Angels on the Way"), a cross-border rescue mission bringing adoptable dogs from Manzanillo, Mexico, to loving homes in Southern California. Our goal is to find the right match for each pooch based on lifestyle, energy level, exercise regime, environment and living situation. To ensure we find a great match for each pup, the process includes: 1) Filling out an Adoption Application. 2) a play date with your furry friend, 3) a home check of the potential adopter, 4) an adoption contract, 5) an adoption fee. The adoption fees include spay/neuter, up-to-date shots, rabies vaccination, microchip & microchip registration, de-worming and the benefit of getting a pooch who has been living in a stable and loving environment. Dogs are fostered in our homes to create the same type of environment into which each will be adopted. We strive to meet each pup's needs in terms of exercise, socialization and basic manners, including potty training.
