DOB: 8/12/2024 Looking for a cat who’ll keep you entertained and loved? Meet Chatty Cathy! This spunky girl will greet you with adorable chirps and meows, play fetch like a pro, and follow you around to “supervise” your every move. She’s smart, curious, and always on a mission - whether that’s opening a drawer to see what’s inside or finding the best sunny spot to nap. Chatty Cathy loves attention from her people but prefers to be the star of the show, so she’d do best as the only cat (or with a very calm roommate). Because she can get a little sassy when over-petted, she’d also be happiest in a home without young kids. Once she trusts you, though, she’ll be your loyal sidekick… sweet, funny, and full of purrsonality. **This cat is currently in a foster home and arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $125 for kittens 6 months and younger; $75 for kittens over 6 months and adults up to 7 years; $50 for 7 years and older. If adopting 2 kittens/cats at the same time there is a $25 discount. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), microchip, flea prevention, vaccinations (FVRCP for cats and DHLPP for dogs), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies are old enough to receive a rabies vaccine). If not, the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done.
