In the shelter’s words

10/29 Pups and PJs:Lots of energy for an older dog, he’s an explorer who will settle into the couch with a good chew toy. He is very treat motivated and be a bit of a counter surfer if you leave food out. He can get vocal and excited when he sees other people on walks but does well with redirection with treats. He already knows his basic commands (sit, shake, down) but might benefit from some continued training for pulling. We started the day with a pup cup and a long walk around the park. For an older dog he has a lot of pep in his step, and only starts to slow down around mile 2. After our walk, we had some much needed couch time where we learned he LOVES being under the blankets. He’s such a cuddle bug. We ended the day with zoomies in the backyard and lots of treats. This spry 12 years old is definitely a puppy at heart and would make a great addition to any home.
