In the shelter’s words

✨ UPDATE — MEET NANCY!! ✨ Imagine being dumped along a busy highway, confused and unsure of where to go. Sadly, that’s exactly what happened to sweet Nancy and her friend, Nic. Thankfully, an amazing foster stepped up and gave these two deserving pups a safe place to land. Since coming into rescue, Nancy has shown us just how sweet, loving, and appreciative she truly is. ❤️ When Nancy arrived, she was suffering from flea dermatitis and mange, but with proper treatment, good food, and lots of TLC, she has healed beautifully! Now she’s healthy, happy, and ready to find the family who will never leave her behind again. ABOUT NANCY: ✨ Lab mix ✨ Approximately 3–5 years old ✨ Around 50–55 lbs. ✨ Loves people ✨ Great with dogs of all sizes ✨ Sweet, loving & appreciative ✨ Up to date on vaccinations ✨ Heartworm negative/below detectable levels ✨ Spayed ✨ Ready for her FOREVER HOME! Nancy and Nic came into rescue together, but they are NOT bonded and can be adopted separately. They each deserve the opportunity to find the perfect family of their own. ❤️ After everything Nancy has been through, it’s amazing how much love she still has to give. She was discarded once — we want to make sure the next family she gets is FOREVER. ❤️ Our adoptions are NOT first come, first served, and there is no fee to apply. We never state that any animal is fully house-trained. New environments, situations, families, and routines can lead to accidents, even with animals who have previously done well in a home. ADOPTION FEE: $195 The adoption fee includes a vet check, age-appropriate vaccinations (at least two sets for puppies), deworming, heartworm testing if over 6 months old, rabies vaccination if at least 16 weeks old, and spay/neuter. Wags & Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow our volunteers time to respond to inquiries and applications. Thank you for your patience and for supporting rescue! ❤️ ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK IN BIO! https://form.jotform.us/70898112177159 PLEASE SHARE NANCY! She went from being abandoned beside a highway to finally knowing she is safe. Now let’s find her the FOREVER HOME she has been waiting for! ❤️
