In the shelter’s words
Moore is a gentle, affectionate boy with a perfect balance of playful and calm. He’s always ready to play with dog friends, and he loves curling up next to his person for snuggles. Fair warning, when you sit down and he lays up against you, resting his head on your arm, he is too cute to move. You may notice he still looks a little thin in some photos. He arrived in rescue underweight. . Rest assured he’s now enjoying regular meals, treats, and all the love he missed out on, working his way to an appropriate weight. He also finds comfort in his kennel and his fluffy bed. When asked to kennel he happily trots in and tucks himself and settles quietly. He’s had no accidents and only vocalizes when he needs to go outside. One of Moore’s standout moments was his recent visit to an assisted living facility, where he greeted residents with patience and warmth, happily accepting pets and making everyone's day. Moore is learning that car rides can be good things. He climbs up onto the seat and curls up on the seat quietly. He is still learning leash skills, as I think the leash is totally new to him, but he is getting better with every walk. Moore is a polite, social, and comforting dog who would make a wonderful addition to any home. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
