In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Oscar! Life has gotten a whole lot better for me. These days, I enjoy the comforts of indoor living—good meals, cozy beds, and plenty of care from the people around me. I've discovered that life as a cherished house cat suits me just fine! I'm a handsome guy with a bright future ahead of me, and now all I need is a forever family to share it with. I enjoy the simple things in life: a comfortable place to relax, a little attention from my humans, and the security of knowing I'm safe and loved. I've already learned how wonderful life can be indoors, and I'm ready to take the next step by finding a home of my very own. If you're looking for a cat who will appreciate every bit of love and comfort you provide, I might be the perfect match. Come meet me at M'Shoogy's and help me write the happy ending I've been waiting for!

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
