Tank would like to introduce himself. He even knows how to shake hands. This handsome boy has been showing us his calm, polite side. He knows sit and shake, loves treats, and accepts them gently. Spending a little time together—and sharing a few biscuits—is a lovely way to get acquainted! Tank has also responded favorably to nearby dogs during leash walks and was traveling with another dog when found. If you have a canine companion, ask shelter staff about an introduction. At approximately 6 months–2 years old and 66 pounds, Tank is a youngster with some nice manners already in place. We’d love to see him continuing to learn with a family who appreciates his gentle approach. Come meet Tank and offer him your hand. A handshake could be the start of a wonderful friendship.
