In the shelter’s words
Some storms are worth weathering… especially when they bring a little Raine! Meet Storm & Raine — two little hearts, two BIG personalities, and one forever home they’re hoping to find together! Sometimes the most beautiful love stories aren’t between two people. Sometimes they’re between two tiny kittens who have discovered that life’s greatest adventures are even better when you have someone to share them with. RAINE — Our Little Firecracker! Raine is a tiny whirlwind of energy, curiosity, and personality! She’s the FIRST one up and ready to burst through the nursery door, eager to meet new people, explore new places, and discover everything the world has to offer! This outgoing little girl doesn’t believe in missing out on anything! She’s playful, adventurous, full of purrs, and always ready for her next big adventure. Whether she’s chasing a wand toy, wrestling with her brother, or curling up beside him for a well-deserved nap, Raine puts her whole heart into everything she does! STORM — Our Goofy Little Entertainer! And then there’s Storm! Oh, this boy! Storm is every bit as active and playful as his sister, but he brings his own hilarious twist to everything he does! He’s goofy, quirky, wonderfully wiggly, and has a way of making you laugh without even trying. His silly antics and adorable personality are impossible not to love! He’s full of purrs, always ready for a good play session, and just as happy tumbling around with his sister as he is snuggling up beside her afterward. These two are professional playmates, champion wrestlers, expert snugglers, and enthusiastic wand-toy chasers! They absolutely love one-on-one attention and interactive playtime, and their joyful little personalities make every moment spent with them a treat. But here’s what makes them truly special…Through every adventure, every wrestling match, every silly moment, and every sleepy cuddle, they have each other. And that’s something we never want them to lose. Toys scattered across the floor. A warm bed. And a lifetime of adventures together. Most importantly, a future where neither one ever has to wonder where the other has gone. This fall, we’re hoping someone will open their heart and home to a little Storm and Raine.Because sometimes, the greatest sunshine comes after a little Storm and Raine! Plan a visit with the source organization
Want to find a special someone to join your family? You've come to the right place. Adopt locally with us for the benefit of our community. All you need to do is fill out an adoption form and we will find a purrfect match for your family. All of our rescues are: examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated up to date, all cats are FIV/FELV tested, dogs are Heartworm tested if age appropriate, dewormed, spayed/neutered when age appropriate and treated with flea/tick product, if needed. They also are all microchipped when they are spayed/neutered. Once an application is completed & approved to move forward - we would set up a time for you to come and meet them in their foster home where they are comfortable. If everyone feels it is a good match for everyone, we would then schedule a home visit (required) prior to adoption. We also require a non refundable deposit of $50 per pet prior to a home visit. (To be applied toward adoption donation.) Adoption Fees* (Cats): $135 for a cat/kitten Adoption Fees* (Dogs): $500 for a puppy (under 1 year of age) $400 for an adult dog *There may be a special rate for adopting a bonded pair!
