In the shelter’s words
Meet Hasiko: Your Loyal Shadow! Are you looking for a dedicated companion who will stick to your side through thick and thin? Meet Hasiko, an amazing German Shepherd mix currently at Rescue Ranch in Yreka, CA, who is looking for her forever home! Hasiko is a lover of water and adventure. She absolutely adores swimming and having a blast playing with other doggy friends she has made. While she is loyal and playful, Hasiko is also a sensitive soul. She is extremely cautious and shy when meeting new people and navigating new situations, taking time to feel comfortable in new environments. Because of this, she will require a patient adopter who can provide a calm, consistent home, allowing her to trust at her own pace. She is currently very settled at Rescue Ranch, enjoying walks and playtimes with her favorite human handlers and canine companions. Once she knows you, she is a loyal, loving friend for life! Personality: Gentle, loyal, and playful, but shy and cautious at first. Best Companion: Another confident doggie sibling could be fine, or a calm home. Requirements: A patient, loving home willing to help her build confidence. Hasiko is looking for a family to share her life with and a safe place to settle down. Ready to meet your new loyal shadow? Read Hasiko's Dog of the Week post here: https://rrdog.org/dw/hasiko/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
