In the shelter’s words
Meet Roxie — A Petite Little Girl With a Big Personality! Roxie may be petite, but she has a huge personality and an even bigger heart! Fancy Cats & Dogs Rescue Team took this sweet girl in from a shelter in Southwest Virginia, and now she's ready to find a family of her own. Roxie is playful, outgoing, and still very much like a kitten. She loves to explore, have fun, and keep herself entertained, especially with cardboard and sisal scratchers. And when playtime is over, Roxie is more than ready to switch gears and become your personal cuddle buddy! One of her favorite things is curling up beside you to watch your favorite shows on TV. She's also perfectly happy to snuggle in for a cozy nap. Roxie loves being close to her people and would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a cat who can keep them entertained and then settle down for some quality couch time. Roxie likes other cats and would be happy to have a playful feline friend who can keep up with her energy. She's also good with kids, making her a great addition to a family. And if there's one thing Roxie will never turn down, it's wet food! If you're looking for a petite, playful, affectionate girl who can go from chasing toys to cuddling on the couch in a heartbeat, Roxie might be your perfect match. She's ready to find the family who will love her for all the years to come! Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip

Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
