In the shelter’s words
Hi, I’m Champion—and yes, I earned that name. When I was found, my back legs weren’t working at all. After surgery and months of recovery (plus a whole lot of determination), they started working again. I may not be perfect, but I’m proof that resilience is very attractive. I walk, play, and enjoy life, though I do have the occasional “oops” moment and don’t always make it to the litter box in time. I promise it’s not personal—I’m just doing my best out here. I'm a lover and a cuddler!

Plan a visit with the source organization
We interview instead of an application (we have been doing this with another organization for some time) and then have a adoption contract to sign. Fee is $95 for cats... $175 for dogs. Requirement is a good home and that if they can't keep the animal, they return it to us. See attached contract.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
